The Cirque d’Hiver Bouglione is organizing the preview of its new show Spectaculaire for the benefit of Rire Médecin. For the fifth year, Le Cirque d'Hiver Bouglione is renewing its commitment to the association in the form of a solidarity evening at a single price of €20. The proceeds from the preview on Friday October 11, 2024 will be entirely donated to the association which, for more than 30 years, has allowed hospitalized children to benefit from visits from clowns.
After Gérard Jugnot, Reda Kateb and Aloïse Sauvage, this year, it is the actor Mehdi Nebbou who was chosen as ambassador of the event. The one which was directed by Ridley Scott and Steven Spielberg, is back in the HPI series. But it was for the needs of a role in another series, Tout va bien, that the actor discovered Le Rire Médecin. Sharing the bill with our godmother, Sara Giraudeau, he interpreted with great accuracy and gentleness, a hospitable clown. To prepare for this role, Mehdi Nebbou spoke at length with Caroline Simonds, founder of the association and the actress-clown Hélène Gustin, her coach. He has also immersed himself several times in the daily life of the professional clowns of Le Rire Médecin in the hospital and retains the memory of moving moments. “I was afraid of being in the caricature, it worried me and, as is often the case, motivated me. » he remembers. “I went several times to immerse myself in hospitals to see the clowns at work. The first few times, I was very uncomfortable, I didn't feel like I had the right to be there. But when I saw a child burst out laughing with stars in his eyes, I understood the essence of their mission. » he analyzes before concluding: “clowns sprinkle joy and dreams on sick children, to get them out of this drama and take them elsewhere. They participate in healing.
